Things to do

The location is excellent for outdoor activities. Scenic hiking, swimming, biking, boating, and bird watching are just outside the door. A canoe sits at the river’s edge for your use. There is a private beach within walking distance, and miles of undeveloped coastline waiting to be explored. You can visit the kayak outfitters for a lesson, hike the many great hiking trails, visit the small villages and restaurants up and down the coast, and more! Point Michaud Beach is a provincial landmark with nice white sand. It’s only 10-20 minutes away by car.. Its 3 km. length is great for sunbathing, surfing, walking, and swimming. The Fortress of Louisburg makes a fantastic day trip where you can see the reconstruction of the French fort from the 1700s and eat in period restaurants of your choice. There are plenty of other adventures to explore, like the world-famous Cabot Trail, or you can choose to stay close to home — getting in touch with the harmony of nature, while living well.
