This charming and comfortable 3 bedroom vacation home in the picturesque seaside village of Broad Cove, Lunenburg County is set in a pastoral 4 acre setting of organic gardens, meadows, woodland and walking trails. Just a short walk to the local beach and a 5-10 minute drive to several other spectacular beaches. The house is an artisan's delight filled with Canadiana pine, local paintings, well-crafted textiles and art. Perfect location for amateur naturalists, as the property is a Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat with the Canadian Wildlife Federation.

More than a cottage, this vacation property has all the comforts of home. Three bedrooms (Q/D/D), dining room, living room, sitting room, 4 piece bath, outdoor deck. cable TV, VCR / DVD and CD player with lots of great East Coast music. Fully furnished and equipped. Indoor and outdoor games. Special attention has been paid to good indoor air quality with hardwood floors and ceramic, use of non-VOC paints, braided cotton rugs, fragrance free cleaning products.

Things to do
Relax in one of the prettiest areas of Nova Scotia. Attractions include numerous white sand beaches, kayaking, biking, hiking, bird watching, visiting craft and antique stores, museums. Kick back on the 4 acre property (described by some as "a walking meditation"), listen to great music at nearby pubs or enjoy down home cooking at the local community suppers.

Rental Rates

June 14 - September 13 $950 CDN. (for up to 4 persons) Friday (4 p.m.) - Friday (10 a.m.) September 15- June 13 $850 CDN. (for up to 4 persons) Friday (4 p.m.) - Friday (10 a.m.) Minimum stay during peak season is 7 days. Shorter term stays (minimum two days) available during the off-season. (Note: house is fully insulated and has both electric heat and a woodstove to make your stay cozy no matter what the weather.) $50 per week for each additional person. Maximum 6 people.
