KEJIMKUJIK SEASIDE ADJUNCTUses: Hiking Time: 2 hrs Length: 6 km (return) Difficulty: 2 Location: This trail is located just off the Lighthouse Route at Port Joli, N.S. Just after entering the community of Port Joli the north, there is a dirt road turnoff. Follow this road for a couple of miles until you come to a parking lot and sign that says Keji Seaside Adjunct. Description: This trail is a little over an hour hike to the ocean. Here there is a beautiful sand beach and lots of coves and rock outcrops to explore. The geology is very interesting in this area, as large pegmatite dikes have created large crystals of glassy muscovite, which can be collected. There is a pit toilet at the beach but little else in terms of development. Rating: 5 Disclaimer: Sea Scotia Vacation Rentals in no way endorses the use of this trail. Please do so at you own risk. Be aware that in some places you may be crossing private property and you are required to obtain permission from the registered owner before doing so.
