ACADIA NATURE TRAIL

Location:  Follow Highway 3 into downtown Wolfville.  As you drive past Acadia University, turn onto University Avenue and follow this street nearly to the top of the hill.  Just past the residence buildings of the university, there is a small parking lot on the right and just past this is the Acadia Nature Trail.

Description: This trail follows through a mixed forest and field terrain.  At one time, signs marked various fauna throughout the trail.  Now the trail is rundown and in several areas, hard to follow.  One can wonder aimlessly through the mainly wooded trails for up to an hour with no fear of getting lost since the trails are bounded by roads on all sides.  There is a small brook that follows along one of the paths but there is very little else to see.
